More milk

Colostrum, is the milk that a mother produces in the first couple of days after giving birth. This fantastic, amazing fluid is packed full of immunological properties that will serve as your baby’s first defense against all of the new germs he/she is all of a sudden exposed to. Colostrum contains high concentrations of sIgA (secretory immunoglobulin A) which is an anti-infective agent that will coat his intestines to protect from anything that may cause allergic sensitivities.

Also it has been discovered that human milk contains PSTI (pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor) which protects and repairs the infant intestine. PSTI is in all human milk but concentration are seven times higher in colostrum. Colostrum also serves as a gentle laxative to help baby clean out the meconium that has built up in the time before birth.
